One of my favorite things about travel is experiencing all the biodiversity this wonderful world has to offer. Whether it be through observing, photographing, filming, or just learning, there is something about connecting with our fellow creatures that fills my heart with joy. We all call this planet our home, and it is important we do everything we can to protect our environment so that we can all have a stable and successful future.

I've been fortunate enough to have many amazing animal encounters over the years. Some of my favorites? Snorkeling with whale sharks in Western Australia, volunteering with rescued elephants in Thailand, and watching a baby blue whale stare up at me from underneath my boat.

Future bucket list animal and wildlife trips to go on? Trekking to see gorillas in Rwanda, snorkeling with orcas in Norway, and seeing wild lemurs leap through the trees of Madagascar.
